I had a final breakfast with Patrick before he heads off to Prague. We both love the rice porridge our school serves on Thursday for breakfast. It was a working meeting. We tried to troubleshoot the problem he was having with his iphone after using migration assistant to move from his school Mac to his new Mac. Everything was working except Aperture which wanted a serial number that was in his container on the way to Prague, and his iPhone. The computer kept having trouble seeing it to sync it. He spent half a day on forums, trying different solution on Apple’s website. Shortly after our breakfast he solved the problem. He ran software update and the only update the new Mac needed as an iPhone SDK compatibility update. That fixed it.
I wish Patrick, Becky and baby Oscar the very best in their new home so far away.
