87/365 April 7, 2010: Daily Happenings

This week a few of my classes began using our Bitstrips for Schools subscription to create educational cartoons. The children are greatly enjoying the program.

This sign in the staff bathroom made me laugh. Traditionally, Malay toilets are squat toilets with a spraying instead of toilet paper.  To meet the needs of some of our Malay employees, the regular toilet had a sprayer.  Someone must have had bad aim — or resented the sign.

Here’s a new restaurant near my hair cutter’s salon in Holland Village. I like that they have filled their sidewalk with plants.
