Ten Stitch Baby Blanket

Great project.  Each row in only ten or fewer stitches long. Most of it is garter stitch. No seaming at the end because you pick up a stitch each row as you go.  And the lovely color changes keep it interesting.  It is Poem sock yarn (merino and nylon) from Wisdom Yarns bought at BeYaGi in Little Canada, Minnesota. I am liking the colors but it is like mohair to rip out.

Another perk is I learned to make mitered corners.  Took a few tries.  The penultimate try I had it correct except that I turned the corner the wrong direction, right instead of left.

This is second attempt. First was being knit in Noro Kureyon Sock and the thick-think nature of the yarn was making the blanket ripple in a way I did not like.  Colors weren’t as pretty either.
